Del Bosque names Spain squad

Written by Sebastien on 27 May 2013. Posted in Confederations Cup 2013

Vicente Del Bosque named the provisional squad of Spain for Confederations Cup 2013, explaining the calls of Casillas, Torres and Martinez. Spain's coach admitted that it was impossible to fit all the suitable players in Spain squad for the forthcoming tournament, and tried to make the best choice for his country.

For Iker Casillas, who hasn't played for Real since January, he said: "We're certain he's in good form. We spoke in France and since then I haven't spoken to him, but I'm sure he is fine. He's one of us."

Fernando Torres is back in the game, as he helped Chelsea win the Europa League this season. Villa and Soldado are the two other strikers.
