Jairzinho

Jairzinho who is also known as Jair Ventura Filho, was a popular Brazilian football player. He was born on 25th December, 1944 in Brazil. He is one of the legendary acts of all time for the inspection of football. He has won many international awards and worldwide conditions during his time in different football leagues.

He started playing in local South American football teams like Botafogo in Rio do Janeiro, and later changed to Garrincha and joined the national football team.

He is popularly known as the "hurricane" due to his notable effects of scoring goals in every match he took part in. He was part of the 1970 FIFA World Cup team which he assisted to score goals in every match of the tournament. He was one of the three players in the world to have scored in every World Cup match this led him to get the championship. Jairzinho was a forward or winger in the football team, something he mastered to do perfectly. He played in three consecutive World Cups of 1966, 1970 and 1974.

He played his last farewell match in 1982 and he was listed as one of the top 20 best footballers of all times by a sports magazine. In his international career, this great player managed to score 33 goals in 81 games he took part in.
